Production, Leadership & Project Management
Production Work using Jira & Miro iCover Project & Beethoven Project (Saxion XR Lab)
Part of my role as an intern at the Saxion XR Lab is to work on the overall production of projects. For iCover, I have developed the general roadmap, along with a timeline including details of all the tasks. I have worked alongside the other interns to ensure that tasks were done on time whilst the interns maintained a healthy balance between projects. Additionally, I have been part of the conceptualizing process of iCover, for which I have used Miro to develop scenarios, which were later pitches to the client for their approval.
For the project Beethoven, which is in the very early stages of development, I have created and developed the game concept to pitch to the client for them to decide whether they wanted to produce my idea or a separate concept. In the end, the client felt very positive about the pitch and chose to develop my concept for the game. As of their approval, I have been working on creating detailed project timelines and designing the workflow and pipelines of the game.
For both projects iCover and Beethoven, I am currently developing detailed Jira spaces that go over the entire teams tasks which match the project timeline. I have also set milestones and potential playtesting periods.
Developer’s Wiki Project: Hamster (Indie Project)
As one of the creators of the game, I took the initiative to create a master-document of everything that new team members of any role would need to know. Some of these categories include: Studio & Team, Market research, Story, Mechanics, Art Guide, Tutorials and many more.
Leadership & Event Organization Study Association XP
As a Board member and Head of Activity at Study Association XP, I held weekly Activity meetings, led event organization, and overlooked a team of around 10 - 15 individuals. In my board year, I worked alongside the Chairman to streamline internal pipelines, establish a new committee structure, and build a strong foundation for the Activity Team. Within the one year of being in this role, XP's event participation and team size have grown by over 300% in comparison to the year prior. I’m proud of these achievements and how they reflect my ability to organize, and lead effectively.
Project & Team Management Project: Hamster (Indie Project)
As a producer, I overlook the project sprints and task division. I do this by hosting all of our stand-ups, and regularly checking in on our members to ensure progress within the project. Aside from task division and overall project management, I also handle the onboarding of team members, and provide regular check ups to see how they are doing both inside and outside of the project.
Research & Testing Experience
User Research and Testing University studies (CMGT Saxion)
As part of my studies, we have about 8 projects within the first two years, alongside subjects based around user research and testing. I have been part of playtesting groups for a variety of projects, in each test, we go over the entire gameplay of the project and look for any bugs or rooms for improvement to report back to the team. I have experience with reporting these notes both verbally and through a detailed form given to me.
Alternatively, I have been on the other end of the spectrum. As part of my subjects Behaviorism, UI/UX Advanced, and Design Thinking, I have had to create user testing forms and reach out to the target audience of my product to take part in playtesting. Within these subjects, I have had experience in Target Audience Research, A/B Testing, collecting data and statistics.
Research and documentation Edexcel A level Psychology & university studies (CMGT Saxion)
During high school, I did 4 years of Edexcel Psychology. In the time I spent studying this subject, I gained a lot of experience that may benefit my position as a QA. The biggest advantage it’s given me is that I have done an immense amount of research in my time studying Psychology, which also involved constant writing and documentation on our findings within a study. This has taught me to pay more attention to detail when researching a subject and document every finding. During playtests, I hope to apply this skill when looking for bugs documenting my reports.
You can find a research paper that I’ve written for my studies below
Environment Art
Outside of the previously shown skills, I am also an Environment Artist as a secondary role. I’ve included 4 of my most recent published artworks below.

Connor Smith CMGT Student @ Saxion University of Applied Sciences
Has worked alongside me in student projects @ Saxion University of Applied Sciences
For our second project in the first year of study we were grouped together by chance. Ever since then we've been in project groups together time and time again, simply because she's just amazing to work with.
Above all else Jade is a team player. She knows how to keep the harmony in a group and how to command focus to the task at hand. I aspire to be as efficient in my work as she is, she always knows exactly how much time she should spend on specific tasks and has an aptitude for planning. I've worked with her on six different projects now, and she's never failed to deliver.
